Terms of Service

1. Who we are

jumpandrank.lol ("the service") is operated by Jan Kilian, Kolonnenstraße 8, 10827 Berlin, Germany (see Impressum). By creating an account or submitting an entry you agree to these terms.

2. The service

The service is a public leaderboard for products. Positions are determined solely by virtual points ("honeypots") attached to each entry. Honeypots are earned through a skill-based browser game or purchased; all honeypots decay by 10% per day. Details are described in the Rules, which form part of these terms.

3. Skill, not chance

The game is a game of skill: the outcome of a run depends entirely on the player's timing and inputs. There are no prizes, payouts, or winnings of any kind — honeypots only affect visibility on this board. A free way to participate (one free run per day) is available to every verified account without payment.

4. Accounts & entries

• One account per person, one entry per account, one entry per registrable domain.
• You may only submit domains you are entitled to represent. If an entry infringes your rights, contact us — we operate a notice-and-takedown process (section 9).
• We may hide or remove entries that contain illegal, misleading, adult, or harmful content, infringe third-party rights, or abuse the service — without refund of honeypots attached to them.

5. Runs, purchases & no refunds for consumed attempts

• A run attempt is consumed when the run starts, including aborted runs.
• All runs are verified server-side. Submissions that fail verification (manipulation, implausible timing, invalid inputs) are rejected; the attempt is not refunded.
• Honeypots and run attempts are virtual goods: no cash value, no transfer, no payout, and they decay as described. There is no entitlement to a particular rank, amount of visibility, or number of clicks.
• Prices are shown at purchase (currently: $1 = 100 honeypots; 10 extra runs $5). Payment is processed by our payment provider.

6. Right of withdrawal (EU consumers)

Purchases deliver digital content immediately. During checkout you expressly consent to immediate performance and acknowledge that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal (§ 356 (5) BGB / Art. 16 (m) Consumer Rights Directive) once the honeypots or run attempts are credited.

7. Availability & changes

We provide the service as-is and may change game parameters (including the decay rate, point curve, and daily caps), suspend, or discontinue the service. Where changes materially affect purchased honeypots we will apply them prospectively and proportionately.

8. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent, gross negligence, and injury to life, body, or health. For slight negligence we are liable only for breaches of essential contractual duties, limited to the typical foreseeable damage. Entries link to third-party websites; their content is the responsibility of the respective operators.

9. Notice & takedown

To report an entry that infringes your rights or violates these terms, email the address in the Impressum with the entry URL and a short description. We review reports promptly and may hide entries during review.

10. Final provisions

German law applies; mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence remain unaffected. Should individual provisions be invalid, the remainder stays in force. The EU Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We are neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute resolution before a consumer arbitration board.
